Janmashtami was celebrated with great fervor and zest in the school.
The stage was brightly decorated with flowers and earthen pots depicting the mischievous and playful side of Lord Krishna’s life.
The Idol of the lord was put in a decorated cradle. Songs and bhajans were sung in praise of God.
A flowery ‘Palki’ was swung, as though Krishna was present in person to enjoy the love of his devotee’s. After the soulful bhajan’s and ‘Arti’, “prashad” was distributed to commemorate the auspicious day. Everyone bestowed good wishes and Janmashtami blessing to all.
