Inter House Dramatics Competition
The Inter House Dramatics Competition was held in The Aryan School on 23 July 2016. The Chief Guest and the Judge on the occasion was Mrs. Vineeta Gera.
Inter House Dramatics has always been the most exhilarating and electrifying event of the school. Every year the four houses vie to showcase superior exhibition of language, expression, skill, performance, and flamboyance.
Sama House presented ‘God Lives in the Panch’. The message conveyed was ‘God is omnipresent’. The show was spectacular. Rig House chose to present The Umbrella Man’, a story on a trick setter. The play encapsulated suspicion and humour.
‘Yamlok mein party’ was staged by Atharva House. It drew characters from real life, laughing, ridiculing and also saluting human endeavours wherever necessary.
An interesting feature of production was ‘Bahu Ki Vidai’, based on the social evil dowry system. The dialogues, delivery, and costumes were excellent.
The Chief Guest in her address congratulated all the participants for their stupendous performance. She also wished all the students for a bright future ahead.
The Principal of the school Mrs. B. Dasgupta appreciated all four houses and said all the participants portrayed their acting skills beautifully.
The best play adjudged was ‘The Umbrella Man’ from Rig house in English and Bahu Ki Vidai Yajur House in Hindi.
The best actor was Umang Panwar from Sama House and Akshat Upadhyay from Rig House for excellent performance in English Play, Sangram Chaudhary was the best actor from Atharva House , Utkarsh Yadav and Kriti Kumari was the best actor from Yajur House.
All the events received applause in abundance.
