The Aryan School hosts farewell 2016-17
7th December’2016, Dehradun: The Aryan School hosted a farewell 2016-17 on the theme ‘Soaring High’ for the outgoing students of class 12.
Decked up in dapper formals, the class 12 students displayed a chic performance. The highlight of the evening was a well choreographed ramp walk followed by a question round. The students competed for various titles including Aryan Trendsetter, Aryan Breeze, Aryan Chivalrous, Ms & Mr Upsurge as well as Aryan Queen & King (Ms & Mr Buoyant).
The various titles were judged by Ravneet S Sadana, Manik Kaur, Virendra Gera, Sugandh Gupta and Rasna Kohli. The students were judged on their walk, confidence, attire and conversational skills. Nikhil Rathi was adjudged the Aryan Trendsetter while Prekshaa was the Aryan Breeze. The Aryan Chivalrous was bagged by Abhimanyu Bishnoi. Ms & Mr Upsurge were Vanshika Aggarwal and Pongpeera respectively. The title of Aryan Queen and Aryan King was presented to Rhea Sharma and Siddhant Pratap Shah. The Principal Trophy for Student of the Year was given away to Abhimanyu Bishnoi.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal B. Dasgupta said, “I advise the students as they pass out from school to never settle for less and to never give in to adversity. You should work hard and smart. It is a myth that we give our best when we get the best. The truth is that the best results come when we optimize our resources to the fullest. Believe that you have the making of successful in you and strive to do well. You, my students, are a guiding star of this school and will lead by light. Work towards creating your own path. Realise your potential and you most definitely will succeed.”
Later, a dance performance was presented by the students of class 11 followed by a song by Viraj Mohan. Compliments and mementos were given away to the students of class 12 by the Principal B. Dasgupta and Vibhor Gupta.
The evening concluded with a valediction speech by Amar Singh and cutting off the farewell cake by the passing out batch. The juniors brought forth the feeling of love, affection, and respect that they had for their seniors in the form of various performances.
Also, present on the occasion were Chairman V. P. Gupta, Vice Chairman Sunny Gupta , Simi Gupta, Mridula Bedi and Vibhor Gupta.
